Maelstrom, a wholesale manufacturer of footwear and apparels wanted to grow by transitioning from traditional methods to the latest market trends. Being a wholesaler they wanted to acquire international customers. They were seeking opportunities to penetrate into e-commerce world. During the transition, they faced challenges like categorizing their customers and dealers, their credit limits, discounts, inventory and shipping. Maelstrom required a system to track inventory and purchases. To overcome these issues and also to increase the customer base they decided to move on to a high level and innovative platform.

To cope up with the challenges faced by the Maelstrom, we proposed them to maintain a centralized database. The website classified three user base and credentials were given accordingly. We proposed an order management for processing the order for different users, thereby, depending on their credibility, discounts were provided. Various offers were given for active users which helped to achieve customer retention. The database helped in inventory and payment management and also to track the deliveries. The easy interaction of the payment gateway kept backend operation simple and smooth along with international delivery options.

The ability to upsell with this innovative platform increased their profit margin and currently they are competing in the international market with our proposed e-commerce solution.
